ASMR trigger words – one of the weirder favorable ASMR triggers since it’s just a collection of words that you could hear throughout your daily life – but when spoken into a light and whispery voice, they have the potential to set off the tingly feeling in your scalp and lower neck area.
Whether you’re an ASMRtist looking for some new words to feature in a video or you’re just a viewer like me and you want to know the most preferred ASMR trigger words that everyone in the community loves.
And in some cases, if they widely love, they probably do well in the way of getting you the ASMR tingles you love.
I’m going to list some of the most known and favorable ASMR trigger words right at the bottom of this post, but before that, I’m going to link some of the best ASMR trigger words videos that feature many of these particular trigger words as well as some new ones so potentially discover some new favorite words to add to your personal list.
72 ASMR Trigger Words
If you’re looking to find a new set of favorite tingly ASMR trigger words, then this video by Alana ASMR will surely have something in there that you can fall in love with.
With over 70 unique trigger words and phrases, I would be very surprised if you don’t find something you like; my favorites are ‘stipple’ and ‘skittles’
I just like the way s’ sound in ASMR videos and especially from Alana as they put a lot of emphasis on the sound so that it can produce a bunch of tingly ASMR sounds.
I also love when ASMRtists have some form of lip gloss or lipstick on their lips because you can hear the sticky noise when their lips slap together when they talk – which I think adds an extra layer to the ASMR experience because it keeps things interesting.
So even if you get tired of a certain letter, let’s say ‘S’ then at least there are different sounds to follow due to the lipgloss or lipstick they have on.
I know a lot of people dislike this as it sounds too intense but I think it just works with any sort of ASMR trigger words video and just talking in general.
Trigger Words ASMR French Addition
I think by far Poki ASMR has one of the best ASMR trigger words videos for you to get tingles from; not only does she just have a lot of fun with what she is doing as you can tell by her giggles but she also brings something different tot he table.
To my knowledge her native tongue is French, so she uses this to explore some new words you may not have necessarily heard before in any other ASMRtists videos; as I’d imagine a lot of us watch English speaking creators.
There is plenty of talking in between, so if you’re looking for a more entertaining video that simply just your favorite trigger words on repeat, I’d check the video out above.
On the topic of French ASMR, she does have a whole video dedicated to ASMR – although I do prefer the video I have linked just above, you can find that video here if you want to have some slightly educational ASMR content!
ASMR Trigger Words – With a twist
If you’re looking for something a little more varied, perhaps not just ASMR trigger words – as to be fair it can get a little boring JUST listening to this ASMR trigger over and over
Then this video by Marno ASMR is going to be perfect for you.
Combining some common and some new trigger words along with varied hand movements and even some visual triggers, this video is particularly great for anyone looking to get a different experience than if you were just to listen to someone says words over and over for 20minutes.
On top of that, he also adds some layered sounds so you can hear your favorite trigger word in a new and different way.
I think a video like this is best because it can be pretty silent at times when creators only use words in their content but instead, Marno is filling up the silence with a varied amount of ASMR triggers that I think work perfectly.
ASMR Trigger Words – Whispered
Finally, this video is one of my favorite videos because there is a lot of breathing in it.
Which sounds a little weird I must admit but I really enjoy breathy words like the way Gentle Whispering ASMR is talking here – its just soothing to me
Probably something to do with it feeling like someone is in the room with me, which allows me to rest easy knowing I’m not alone – which can be a common reason as to why I don’t want to sleep; I feel much more comfortable with someone else close.
Sort of like when your mother laid with you if you woke up from a nightmare.
In hindsight, there is probably a good reason why the ASMR community refers to Gentle Whispering as the ASMR Mother.
ASMR Trigger words List
Hopefully, you’ve looked through those videos linked above, or at least they are on your watch list and you’re ready to find some of your favorite ASMR trigger words.
AS I previously stated, here are some of my favorite ASMR trigger words which hopefully can inspire any ASMR creator struggling to come up with some fun, interesting and tingly words to say to their audience.
There are many more ASMR trigger words than the ones above, ones you may have heard in some of these linked videos.
But these are just some of my favorites and some that are widely popular throughout the community which has been commonly used by ASMRtists in these types of ASMR videos.
Final Words on ASMR Trigger Words
ASMR trigger words are a great way of finding out the certain way someone pronounces a word can give you tingles
This type of ASMR sound is used throughout all of ASMR; unless its a no talking ASMR video – but particularly they are used in exclusive videos like the ones mentioned above.
Throughout all of the words whispered and softly spoken, I hope you can find something that just gets those ASMR tingles.
And if not – keep exploring, there is bound to be the perfect word for you that just makes you feel some type of way.
Thanks for reading.
